So you haven’t purchased. Darn was wanting a try on so I can see it. I can go to a website and view the clothes just as easy as you showed. But I like to see the creators actually style and wear the items.

I got that first linen (blend?, I forget) dress in black and I love it. It comes with a wide, graphic belt that I don’t like much, so I just wear it with my tan Marant Lecce belt and mid-heeled tan leather sandals. It’s flattering and keeps me cool; I might get it in the khaki green, too. I wear this green a lot, so long as it’s not too yellowish it suits my Soft, Cool coloring well enough (Soft Summers like me can wear this Soft Autumn color). Khaki green is a great neutral and one of my basic summer wardrobe colors like navy, soft white and taupe/cool brown. Khaki green looks great with many other colors, my favorite is a neutral to cool light pink, or a coral for those with a warmer undertone. I love all the soft, natural, muted colors. The strong, clear, bright ones don’t suit me and can be too trendy and memorable to get a lot of mileage out of.

I can only wear earrings made of gold/silver/platinum (which can get quite expensive), so I'm so jealous of all you girls who can go and buy great earrings on the high street (so jealous...). You are absolutely right, even though l live in the suburbs, every time l go out, l always wear very nice clothing, shoes, etc. My make up must be on, and my hair must be as best as l can make it. I don’t care if everyone else dresses sloppy, l want to always look my best, and to set an example as you said. Even going to the grocery store. l am looking my best for me, because it makes me feel better. Many times other women compliment me on an item l am wearing, and that makes me feel good, and when l see another woman that looks great, l will compliment her. It takes effort to look our best, but it is worth it! Thank you for your example also!

I agree with others who responded. Even in the US, and even in a more casual area of the country (Seattle metro), and even being retired, I give myself permission to dress elegant every day, because it is me, regardless of how others dress. Love your videos and your baby bump.

I love Jennifer's ten item wardrobe idea, and watching her wardrobe videos is helpful for reining in excessive shopping, if that ever becomes a problem. Myka is wonderful, too! Jennifer interviewed Myka a few years ago, and I have been enjoying her guidance on etiquette ever since. I haven't heard of the others, but will look them up! Thank you for sharing. 😊

I was raised in the US. My mother emphasized that a woman needs to dress with a bit of class, that you dont have to have a huge budget just a good eye. Seems to have worked well with lifestyle.

I'll be happy when the exaggerated eye brows go out of fashion. They're too masculine looking & such a fine line (no pun) between "just right" and clownish.

I knew 3 out of 4. I follow Myka on Insta but I'm rarely on there anymore so I subscribed to her youtube. Hopefully the content is current. Found Jennifer in 2020 and Beth in 2022.

Great recommendations, I’m following 2 of them already. I’m watching Jennifer for years, same with Beth, her cooking videos gave me countless inspirations and thanks to her I mastered baking madeleines. If I can make a recommendations I would mention two more creative ladies on UA-cam: Jamila Musayeva is etiquette expert and she lives in Baku Azerbaijan (how exotic) For everyone who loves vlogging I would recommend Hannah Ricketts, she’s based in London and has great videos showing of this beautiful city and all the afternoon tea places. I don’t watch any tv or Netflix but this few ladies (including your channel) are my main entertainment while I’m knitting and drinking my tea. After a day of work and catching up on mostly depressing political news all this mentioned above UA-cam channels are like a breath of fresh air. Thank you for doing what you are doing!

Absolutely, I was once on a tour of capital cities of Europe and I hate to say the younger of the entourage were dressed so sloppily that I couldn’t look at them… I wanted to ask. ‘ if this is what you wear to a beautiful capital city, what do you wear when you clean out the garage?’.

I love all of these women. I tried one of the recipes by Beth a couple of years ago and was blown away that something so beautiful and tasty came from my kitchen! That recipe is on regular rotation now. She's also so down-to-earth. The fact that she has a house in France as well as her regular home could put people off and cause them to assume she's snooty. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Watching her videos is like having coffee with a friend. There's just something about her.

Been following Jennifer for years, and read her books, they are really good! Also , I discovered Myka Meier when she was interviewed on Jennifers' channel!

I have followed Beth for years as I know her aunt and her father. She is excellent and moving to France. I would like to recommend to you Un Blah Yourself from CA. She is very fun and does a lot of thrift purchasing and talks about women dressing without showing skin and push up padded bras. Love her!
